BridgeForward has announced the general availability of Physician Integrator™ - a rapidly deployed integration solution designed specifically for physician practices.

Physician Integrator is a field-proven interoperability solution that provides faster connectivity between a physician’s electronic medical record (EMR) and/or practice management system (PMS) and virtually any system that contains patient data, including:

Regional health information organizations (RHIO)
Healthcare information exchanges (HIEs)
Hospital information systems
Departmental systems such as lab, radiology, pathology, billing
Payors
Personal health record systems such as Microsoft HealthVault and Google Health

Physician Integrator™ can be deployed on BridgeForward’s ClearSpan Server™ platform or our next generation Viaduct™ platform. ClearSpan Server™ is already used in more than 3,100 physician offices in the US and UK. Physician Integrator™ can be installed on existing physician office hardware or in a hosted environment and provides standard adapters for connecting disparate systems and devices.

Physician Integrator is available in stand-alone form for physician practices and hospitals or in private-label form for software application providers.
