The MessageEngine is a federated message broker that provides a publish and subscribe metaphor allowing applications to publish messages that can be subscribed to by other applications. Messages can be routed between applications based on different subscription models – static or dynamic. Static allows messages to be specifically subscribed to whereas dynamic allows subscribed messages to be routed via rules that are evaluated based on the content of the messages.
