ClearSpan Server includes a Management Console that is used for configuration and monitoring of the ClearSpan Server runtime. The console provides the ability for users to create integration scenarios, define transformations and to manage the runtime activities.

The console includes;

  • Creation and maintenance of Client definitions, Message formats, Rule definitions, Publish and Subscribe routes
  • Browsing and viewing of client queues
  • Browsing and viewing of journals
  • Command and control of interfaces
  • Configuration and definition of Adapters

The Management Console enables system administrators to manage all of the interface application clients and their queues in a ClearSpan Server Enterprise from a single point of control. The ClearSpan Server Management Console provides a GUI-based, object-oriented interface that simplifies management tasks such as adding or deleting clients and message queues, viewing the contents of queues, and changing message priorities and store types. The ClearSpan Server Management Console along with the graphical Monitor View, displays clients connected, messages published, received, in the queue, last publish time, last receipt time, and total time online as well as a list view.

The ClearSpan Server Management Console window contains the following visual elements:

  • Display of Configuration, Browsing and Monitoring folders
  • Hierarchical view of clients and queues
  • Drag and drop configuration
  • Display of all necessary configuration detail for a ClearSpan Server installation
