Problem:
Alexian Brothers Hospitals needed to provide enterprise-wide application integration across a three-hospital health network, including different Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and a wide variety of stand-alone clinical, financial and departmental systems.

Solution:

Problem:
The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, the premier hospital for children in Europe, sought seamless connectivity to and from the hospital's installed patient administration system (PAS), iPM from iSoft, and a multitude of disparate, standalone departmental systems. The hospital also needed connectivity between departmental systems and the private patients billing system, and between the PAS and the single sign-on (SSO) system, in a fast, cost-effective, standardized and supportable manner using limited internal technical expertise.

Solution:
BridgeForward's ClearSpan Server was selected to provide the integration layer which now connects multiple departmental systems to the hospital's iPM via an enhanced iIE implementation, enables email notification of radiology and pathology results, and enables the Sentillion SSO system.

Problem:
